U.S. President Donald Trump blamed the worsening fires in Los Angeles over the past two weeks on insufficient efforts to protect the endangered fish species found on the verge of extinction in California.
An environmental expert expressed concern due to the ongoing threat to the threated Sacramento-San Joaquin salmon, living in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River. An ecology specialist noted that the threat to all living beings is a result of climate change and global warming.
Nevertheless, President Trump linked the fires in California to insufficient efforts to protect the environment. "If it weren't for human interference in nature to save the salmon, we wouldn't have been confronted with such destructive fires," he stated.
